The King of Sports recently announced their Melbourne card for Southern Showdown. This is one of the most anticipated events to be occurring in the land down under. Some of the talents will not be featured in the Sydney event. However, everyone is enthusiastic about the New Japan Pro-Wrestling event. They will have some of their local talent featured on the card as well.

The card is an exciting card and the people of Melbourne are in for a fantastic live event. The main question is will Robbie Eagles bring the gold to Bullet Club in his home country of Australia. This will be the first title defense for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship, since Will Ospreay has obtained it after Best of the Super Jrs. Ospreay expressed his respect for Eagles during Best of the Super Jrs. and how he offered him a spot in CHAOS. Robbie Eagles did not accept the offer instead joined Bullet Club. Ospreay stated his offer still stands because he still sees the real Eagles deep down inside.
