DEFY Doomsayer 9/27 in Seattle

El Phantasmo drops out, Killer Kross makes his DEFY debut!

After a series of challenges, back and forth skirmishes between former DEFY World Champion Artemis Spencer and long-time rival and one-time friend and tag partner, El Phantasmo. New Japan Super J Cup winner and one-half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight tag team champions El Phantasmo has decided to skip out on appearing September 27th at Washington Hall. Artemis Spencer who will be competing this weekend at PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles was very clear he was not wrestling El Phantasmo after he made it clear as former champ, he had nothing to prove and if El P wants to face him he needs to prove himself to Spencer!

This left DEFY Wrestling with an opening for Doomsayer. Iron Heart Douglas James was the first to step up, telling DEFY officials he would fight anyone, anywhere at any time. Even in defeat, Douglas has proven to be one of the most competitive wrestling in the business. Accepting the challenge to face Douglas James September 27th, making his DEFY debut is the phenomenal Kevin “Killer” Kross! Killer Kross has been on a tear throughout the wrestling business and this is just the fight he looking for to show the Defyance just who he is!

September 27th you will also see newly crowned DEFY World Champion SCHAFF make his first title defense against the highly unpredictable “Bad Boy” Joey Janela! We will also see a battle between two luchadors from Mexico, Rey Horus and the debuting Bestia 666.

In tag team action the Amerikan Gunz, Mike Santiago and Ethan HD will face the combination fans have dubbed KO Crazy, featuring ECW legend Super Crazy and Guillermo Rosas!

In one of the nights most anticipated matches, Darby Allin will wrestle Cody Chhun. Chhun has risen to be one of the Pacific Northwests most popular wrestlers. He accepted a challenge that Darby expressed to management months ago. This will be Darby’s last match with DEFY Wrestling as he starts his exclusive contract with All Elite Wrestling in the TNT Network in October!
